The survey also showed that among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with 1 to 50 employees, 31% of employees expect that they will no longer be able to work from home after the corona crisis. For larger companies, this percentage is much lower: for companies with 50 to 500 employees, the percentage is 16%; for companies with more than 500 employees, the percentage is only 10%.
When looking at age groups, it is also surprising that in all age groups, after the corona crisis, the new standard is expected to start working at home at least two days a week. Among young people aged 18 to 30, 57% of Dutch people want to continue working at home at least two days a week after the corona crisis. In the age group 30 to 50, this proportion is 67%, and in the age group over 50, this proportion is even 74%.
