Croatian boxer Luka Plantic defeated Irishman Emmet Brennan in the Olympic boxing qualification today and won a place at the Tokyo Olympics.
After three rounds of fierce battles, the 24-year-old Croatian champion won and entered the top four, enough to qualify for the Olympics. You can watch the Battle of Plantic from 7:08:00 in the video above.
Prantic played brilliantly in the opening game, and the opponent was counted in the first minute, so the first round finally reached the Croatian boxer convincingly. In the second round, Plantage’s performance was better, so he won 4-1.
In the end, he ended the game safely without too much drama, and his uncontrollable tears of joy after the victory explained what this position in Tokyo means to him.
