Today, the bodies of two young climbers were found in the active Piton de la Fournaise volcano on the French island of Reunion.
Reunion is a small French island in the Indian Ocean. It is located 700 kilometers east of Madagascar and 200 kilometers southwest of Mauritius. It is an overseas department and region of France.
According to Agence France-Presse, a 20-year-old climber was walking in the volcanic area but was found dead in the main crater of the volcano. The cavity was formed after the eruption of magma.
