Austrian President Alexander Van der Belen announced on Twitter that he has received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine today.
He was vaccinated by Pfizer and BioNTech at one of the mass vaccination sites in Vienna.
He wrote: “This is just a small thorn, and it will be over soon.” He said that vaccination can ensure safety.
“I hope to have enough vaccines as soon as possible so that everyone who wants to get vaccinated can be vaccinated. Each vaccination is important and helps normalize so that we can quickly and hopefully again Party, sit and chat together” Old Van Belen.
He was vaccinated like all other Austrians. He first applied online and was appointed when and where to vaccinate last week. Today he received his first dose of Pfizer/BioNTech.
