The Iranian News Agency reported that a diplomat from the Swiss Embassy in Tehran was killed on Tuesday after falling from a high building where she lived in the northern part of the city.
According to the semi-official ISNA news agency, the emergency services spokesperson said that the embassy employee is 51 years old.
The diplomat who fell to his death on a building in Iran was the first secretary of the Swiss Embassy and reported on the semi-official news agency Mehr.
The semi-official news agency ILNA quoted its reporter as saying that she lived on the 18th floor of the building.
There is no information on the circumstances of her death in any report.
Since the severance of relations between Washington and Tehran shortly after the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Switzerland has represented the United States’ diplomatic interests in Iran.
