Osijek and Rijeka’s former goalkeeper IVAN VARGIĆ left Koper.
A year and a half ago, Vagic came to the Slovenian club. First, the Slovenian club rented him from Lazio for six months. After the contract expired, he agreed to cooperate with Koper for one year. This season, Vargic played 29 games, but at the end of the season he lost his place in the team, so he missed the matchup with Koper, who survived Krk in the league.
Vargic has the best defense in Rijeka, where he came from Osijek in 2013. His outstanding performance allowed him to transfer to Lazio, who paid him 2.6 million euros in 2016. However, he only played three games for this famous club, so he was later loaned to Anorthosis and Koper.
He played for Croatia for the first time in 2014 and became a member of the European Championship national team two years later. He has played 3 times for the national team.
