The Bayern Munich striker broke the record of legend Ged Müller in the 1971/72 season with one goal and ended the Bundesliga season with 41 goals in just 29 games. Robert Lewandowski, in addition to winning the title of King of Shooters for the fourth time in a row, also won the German Championship.
Players who play in the Bundesliga every day appreciate the excellent attitude of the Poles. They chose Lewandowski as the best football player of the 2020/21 season. This is the third consecutive time the forward has won. A total of 248 players voted in the referendum, and the Bayern Munich striker won 71% of the vote. Out of all the votes, beat the opponent.
The second is Dortmund striker Erlin Harland-9.7%. Voting, the podium was closed by Lewandowski’s colleague Thomas Muller-4.8%. The top five also include Joshua Kimmich from Bayern (2.4%) and the unexpected Robert Andridge from Berlin United (1.6%).
The best coach of the Bundesliga was also selected. Dortmund coach Edin Terzić (Edin Terzić) gathered 25%. Votes (he won the German Cup and finished 3rd with the club in the league) and slightly defeated Bo Svensson (24.2%), who had a very good result in the spring game against Mainz, which made him Free from relegation. In all votes, it surpassed Barcelona’s second Messi (25.8%) and Manchester City’s third Kevin De Bruyne (10.1%). Kelian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain ranked fourth, and Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus ranked fifth.
