The star of the soprano family series, Joseph Siravo, who played Tony Soprano’s father, died at the age of 65 during a long battle with cancer.
Actor Garry Pastore confirmed the news of his death, and he paid tribute to the late actor on Instagram.
He wrote: “Rest in peace, my dear friend, fighting in an incredible battle. I will miss you. See you another time.”
Siravo played an important role in television and theater.
Recent roles include roles in the films “Life”, “Blacklist” and “Made in Jersey”, as well as the films “Fairness”, “Brooklyn Mother History” and “Wanderer.”
