The Washington Wizards defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 122-114 at home, avoided the broomstick of the NBA playoffs, and narrowed the series gap to 3-1.
Outside of the game, the 76ers also lost superstar Joel Embiid, who fell to the ground in the first quarter. He quickly left the field to go to the locker room and never returned to the game. The club announced that it was a knee injury. It is unclear whether the main competitor of Nikola Jokic’s MVP award will participate in the fifth game from Wednesday to Thursday night, or how serious the injury is.
