K8 instead of K7

The K8 retains the front-wheel drive platform, with McPherson struts at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear. The suspension with adaptive shock absorbers becomes a privilege of the expensive version. All versions now offer electric power steering systems with electric motors (this mechanism allows for more precise control and transparent feedback).
The basic engine is the same-combined injection of 2.5 GDI (198 HP, 248 Nm). The 3.0-liter engine was replaced by the V6 3.5 of the Smartstream series. In the gasoline version of GDI, it can produce 300 hp. 359 Nm, propane LPI-240 hp. And 314 Nm. All modifications are equipped with 8-speed “automatic” and front-wheel drive, but for the first time a car with a 3.5 GDI engine is equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission. Later, hybrid power will appear in the range, it will replace the previous 2.4 MPI unit, and will have a 1.6 T-GDI turbo engine.

In terms of power, the engine surpasses all twin-turbocharged engines on the previous Pagani model: 850 hp. At 8250 rpm. The maximum torque is 750 Nm. Instead of the 7-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox, a 6-speed sequential gearbox with a racing sintered clutch and significantly reduced shift time is used. As usual, drive to the rear wheels. The double wishbones with adaptive shock absorbers have been re-adjusted and are equipped with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with 6-piston mechanisms at the front and rear.
