The German Football Association (DFB) banned Congolese player Silf Katompa Mvumpa from VfB Suttgart for three months for violations of sports ethics.
The organization said on Friday that in addition to the ban, football players who previously provided false personal information must also pay a fine of 30,000 euros (10.4 million HUF).
The German Football Association added that the player’s confession has been considered a mitigating situation and that he will obtain the necessary German license to work for a professional football player in his true identity.
In 2019, Silas left the guard of the French second-rate Paris Football Club for Stuttgart. According to his manager, the truth was announced on Tuesday. On the advice of his manager, he has appeared in fake newspapers. So far, Silas has been playing under the name of Wamanjituka, actually one year older than they thought. In Stuttgart, he succeeded 21 times in 58 betting games and sent 13 assists.
