Prime Minister Scott Morrison said his government will review gender discrimination legislation to make lawmakers, justices of the peace and civil servants accountable for harassing colleagues in their workplaces.
“It’s about making everyone stand together as equal as possible”Morrison told reporters in Canberra.
Parliamentarians, judges and civil servants currently enjoy immunity from workplace harassment, even though they may be subject to criminal prosecution for sexual assault.
