In the quarter-final confrontation between the two teams, Chelsa moved to the Champions League semi-finals after Sevilla defeated Porto 2-0. The winning scorers for the London team were Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell.
The Croatian national team player Mateo Kovačić was a member of the Chelsea starting lineup and was active in the game until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Emerson Palmieri. He is not a scorer or assistant, but he played an excellent game through some of the same moves.
After Chelsea looked for Chelwell on his own court, his ball was the start of Chelsea’s second goal, and then he skillfully used the host’s gift.
