The Radeon video controller Exynos 2200 may make its debut in Windows laptops.
Samsung has provided the latest information on the first system chip co-designed by Samsung and AMD. Korea Economic DailyAccording to his sources, Exynos 2200 will be launched in the second half of this year. This premium product may make its debut on a laptop running the ARM version of Windows 10, but it will also be used on tablets and smartphones.
The system chip has been manufactured using 5nm manufacturing technology, it combines the most modern ARM Cortex processor core with AMD Radeon video controller, and theoretically will be able to combine extremely high performance and good battery life.
Its direct competitor will be the first-class Qualcomm Snapdragon solution, and hope it can become a milestone in the field of Android and Windows portable devices, just as the Apple M1 proved on the other side of the fence. It has not yet been discussed whether Samsung will use it in a Chromebook.
