Sergei Dankvert, head of Russia’s Rosselkhoznadzor, said in an interview with TASS that the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service “Rosselkhoznadzor” has sent documents to Hungary and Thailand requesting the registration of Russia’s animal vaccine against covid-19.
“We have formed and sent registration files to Hungary and Thailand. For example, Hungary is considering registering vaccines for dogs,” Dankvert said.
In his view, Southeast Asian countries will need this vaccine, “because there are many farms there, and people want to protect their animals.”
He reported that there are ongoing negotiations with 17 countries on vaccine registration.
He also said that many countries, including European countries, have shown interest in vaccines. Russia does not want to raise prices, but it has “reduced to a minimum.”
He explained that the price will depend on delivery and shipping conditions.
