Raffaele Renda advocated that his wish can be read in his eyes. In his performance on the Amici 20 stage, he conquered with the singles “Il solee all windows” and “Foccu meu” To the public, this is a hymn to his land and desires that never stops. After the 17-year-old Sanremo (Sanremo Young) came in second, almost everything disappeared.
Raffaele Renda seems to have finally convinced everyone of their talents. This always encourages him to improve his talents. First of all, “Il solee window”. His singles were broadcast on the radio for a few days. This shows the desire to get out of trouble. Tunnel, love each other, even if the world seems to be crashing towards you. After Sanremo Young, his adventure in Amici 20 (5 unpublished books) is the next step in his long personal affirmation marathon, he has an important relationship with him (such as Martina Miliddi) shared this journey. At the gate of the semi-finals, the road of talent performance was separated, but before that, the Calabrian singer managed to leave a trace of himself and his land. This is an unprecedented “Focu Meu”, which is Retaliation for his affirmation. A country that convinces you that it is impossible to do so.
“When fears grow up, make them feel good. No one knows how to stop them.” A poem in “The Sun Outside the Window” seems to completely represent your musical energy, and it is your desire to throw your heart toward obstacles. Can you tell me the concept? How was this song born?
That’s it. I have spent my childhood and adolescence and must convince everyone, including my family, that music is my path and my life. Even when I was depressed, I had to force myself to move on instead of sinking into the abyss. The meaning of that sentence is the meaning of my musical journey. This song is full of hopeful hymns: I know that there is always a dark period that scares us and puts us in trouble. At that moment, we are the masters of destiny and future. The sunlight on the window is to me the sunlight in the tunnel.
During the Amici 20 adventure in recent months, with your lights, this is an excellent stage for your music career. What do you think of this trip?
A friend I have dreamed of since I was a child, but I tried to enter for four years, but without success. Then, this year I am very lucky, this is exactly what I imagined. A course of study that allowed me to grow at both a human and professional level.
What is it like to share a house with others for six months, but most importantly, can you tell me one of your favorite memories?
Very strange, because I have never lived with anyone outside of my family, especially for such a long time. I have to let myself fall into this situation, which is not an easy task, also because if I love one thing, it is loneliness. However, we were humans at that time, and I had established contact with many people in the house, not just others. I think the close contact with Arisa is my biggest change, because seeing her in the studio is priceless.
Back to “Focu Meu”, how much Calabria is in your music?
a lot of. Unfortunately, many times they tell me that they must escape from this land, because here the “life” of the artist is not a real work. I think we can start from anywhere in the world without complaining and supporting ordinary people who don’t exist. You must be strong.
Is there a specific episode that makes you consider quitting music?
Yes, that’s because I didn’t have Sanremo Young until I was not sober. I won the second place and I am looking forward to who knows what’s great. This situation has made me grow a lot, because I don’t want to sing anymore. I want to know why I want to move in this direction, because I can’t understand music, just like life, it is made up of ups and downs. I didn’t understand before because I was too young.
From past to future: What’s next for Raffaele Renda?
The next step is to release my Ep, which is my record. My dream is of course to return to San Remo, this time a big shot. Then I want to make myself a performer, which has lost a lot in Italy in recent years. This musical process fascinated me.
