The Polish government and health officials said that since the benefits of immunization outweigh the potential risks, Poland today began to vaccinate Johnson & Johnson with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine against covida-19.
The Federal Health Agency on Tuesday recommended that Johnson & Johnson’s vaccination should be interrupted for at least a few days after six women under the age of 50 develop blood clots.
“For Johnson & Johnson, today is the first day to use it. We have not received any signs of problems or patient rejection (acceptance),” said the government official who monitors the country’s vaccination program, Mikhail Dvorch. K (Michal Dworczyk), said at the press conference.
The head of the Medical Device Registration Office said at a press conference that the benefits of vaccines outweigh the potential risks.
France announced on Wednesday that it would only vaccinate people over 55 years of age. The Swedish Health Agency announced that it would postpone the start of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
EMA will release a new evaluation of the vaccine next week.
