Peak Capital participated in the investment of Heja.io, a Swedish sports team management application.
The Dutch fund led the round, worth 3.5 million euros. This involves collaborations with existing investors Luminar Ventures, Bonnier Ventures, Inbox Capital, Max Ventures, and angel investors such as Ted Nelson and Mattias Weinhandl.
This four-year-old app helps coaches, parents and players organize and discuss sports-related matters in one place in an easily accessible way. Hey Can be linked to the user’s calendar. The basic version of the application is free, and the version with more features costs 8 euros per month.
Heja claims to have 1 million users.
A series of Whatsapp groups are now commonly used for the mentioned functions.
