After seeing part of the campaign against hate speech in the region, seeing hatred, Slavs, are you still alive? Aroused a lot of attention and received support from many public figures, Nikolina Ristovich talked about her personal experience with hate speech.
“I have been a target many times, but the Croatians, that is, my compatriots. Of course, they did not question my nationality, but they attributed it to me through marriage. Those are just some comments, which all my compatriots respect All my names. Besides, from the day I started the “Operation Victory” project in 2008, and to this day, I can confidently say that I am the most abused Croatian woman,” she told Object.
She pointed out that she will not delete such comments on social networks.
“Just to mention, this does not apply to all Croatians, but only to very specific, closed and indoctrinated parts. I have been wondering for a long time what went wrong with me, and then I realized that the problem was with them. This is violent behavior. In social media and virtual worlds, hate seeders are protected anonymously almost without exception, and avatars with ethnic or religious characteristics are almost without exception. Unless there is hate speech against me, I will never Delete such comments because I feel that I cannot adequately solve their problems. The answer is that their digital footprint best describes themselves.
He added: “To be honest, I don’t want to eliminate their vomiting because they should continue to be role models for space and surreal nonsense. Now is the time to launch such a campaign! All the praise for this.”
