In addition, Windows 10 also provides a new newsletter interface.
Microsoft released regular monthly security updates for its supported Windows and other software on Tuesday night. Starting with the good news, the company fixed only 50 vulnerabilities in June, which is about half of the usual number, with 5 being critical and the remaining 45 being rated as important. The bad news is that there are 7 vulnerabilities on day 0, and 6 of them are being actively exploited.
In addition to the fix, Windows 10 users in the fall of 2019 or later also received news and interest features. This is the version of the News Tray news item that appears on the homepage of the Microsoft Edge browser by clicking the icon that shows the current temperature.
The idea of this function is not bad, but the customized display content according to the theme is not satisfactory. The publications you don’t like can only be hidden from the interface. Another problem is that when you click on news, it must be loaded into the Microsoft Edge browser. Articles will not appear directly on the publication’s web page, but their copies are included in the Microsoft News Reader service.
For example, in many cases, the gallery embedded in the article will not show errors.
The new interface looks very whitewashed in its current form and can be hidden by right-clicking a blank part of the taskbar and then closing it in the “News and Interests” menu.
The updates released by Microsoft now will be automatically installed for everyone in a few days, even if Windows Update is not disabled.
