Ben Hodgkinson is making a very sensitive transition in Formula One. Starting next season, the head of technical development at Mercedes will start working for rival Red Bull Racing.
Since 2001, Hodgkinson has held various positions at Mercedes. Since 2017, he has been the technical director of the engine department of racing horses, and has dominated Formula One racing for the past seven years. For the rest of the season, he will no longer do any work for the team.
