London (AP). Queen Elizabeth II receives her Barbie to celebrate her 96th Birthday and the upcoming Platinum Jubilee.

Mattel, the California toymaker, released the doll in honour of the King’s 70-year service. It will be honored starting June 2nd.

The doll is dressed in ivory, with a blue sash.

Queen Elizabeth II, who celebrated her birthday privately, returned to Sandringham, an estate in the east, England that offered refuge from state affairs for her and Prince Philip.

While Thursday was peaceful, public celebrations will be held on June 2-5. There will be four days of jubilee celebrations that run parallel to the official King’s anniversary.
