Several local media reported that Denmark has decided not to include Johnson & Johnson in its covid-19 vaccination plan.
The country stopped using AstraZeneca last month because of possible blood clots.
Excluding the J&J vaccine (which accounts for one-third of the ordered dose) may significantly slow down the population’s vaccination rate.
Johnson & Johnson vaccine is not used in some other European countries related to blood clots.
The European Medicines Agency (European Medicines Agency) announced on April 20 that it has determined that there may be a link between the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and blood clots that rarely occur in adults vaccinated in the United States.
But the agency pointed out that the benefits of this vaccine outweigh the risks.
