Still this year, the government intends to initiate the first auction to support the production of green hydrogen, and it also pointed out in the major selection of 2021-2025
According to the proposal of the “Big Options Law” of 2021-2025, the government will launch a new solar auction this year to auction water mirrors in water projects.
The Council of Ministers approved the bill on Thursday. He said: “By 2021, a new solar auction for unconventional surfaces will be launched, that is, water mirrors for water projects using floating photovoltaic solar technology.”
According to the document, the government is still in the field of energy diversification and reduction of energy dependence, and intends to approve “necessary procedures applicable to all aspects of the renewable gas value chain, including permits for the renewable energy value chain. Hydrogen injection in the gas network” Installation and regulation”.
Therefore, we will continue to prepare and submit an application and submit hydrogen to IPCEI (English acronym for “Important Projects of Common Interest in Europe”, Portuguese).
“Many projects for the production of green hydrogen and other renewable gases (such as biomethane) have been identified, and the first project will appear in 2021, especially in the transportation and industrial sectors. The document states, “Installation in Sinnes Industrial Work on the green hydrogen cluster is underway, and the possibility of the formation of a second cluster in the northern part of the country is under evaluation.”
Still this year, the government plans to initiate the first auction to support the production of green hydrogen.
In the next few years, support for investment in hydrogen and other renewable gas projects will also be obtained through the multi-year financial framework and the “Recovery and Resilience Program” (PRR).
Regarding lithium, the government reiterated in the “Large Option Law” that it requires the country to implement “research and industrial development projects, and the value chain from the mining part to the industrial part and the battery market will always have basic environmental sustainability. It also brings the greatest economic and social returns to the population and economy.”
In addition, after conducting a strategic environmental assessment, a tender will be initiated to allocate lithium exploration and research rights. According to the government, “industrial reference projects will be allowed to be installed, as well as polar research and development” in the battery field.
