According to the customs data of the Russian Federation reported by Russian media on Tuesday, Germany’s imports of Russian natural gas in February increased by 63% compared to February last year.
In February, Germany imported 4.6 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas through pipelines.
Compared with January, Russia’s gas supply in Germany has increased by 13.4%.
For a long time, Germany has been the European leader in Russia’s purchase of natural gas.
Russian data also showed that exports to Serbia (up 52.3%), Greece (36%), Bulgaria (32.2%) and Hungary (33%) increased year-on-year in February.
At the same time, Italy, Austria and France reduced their purchases of Russian natural gas by 77%, 25% and 18%, respectively.
