Young Brandon Scott Hole, whose family killed eight people at a FedEx site in Indianapolis this week, expressed despair at such a meaningless attack.
“We are desperate for the loss caused by Brandon’s actions. With the love of his family, we tried to give him what he needed.”
The whole family expressed “the deepest regret and apologies for the victims of this meaningless tragedy” on the local television station WISH in Indianapolis.
Hall shot at FedEx employees on Thursday night. He killed four people in the front of the room, then came in and killed four more people. Seven people were injured.
19-year-old Brandon Scott Hole committed suicide after police arrived.
He is a former employee of a company with a history of mental illness, which is why he was detained last year.
The police said that this is the latest of seven bloodsheds in the United States in the past month. It took place at the operations center of the US Federal logistics giant FedEx near the Indianapolis International Airport in the United States.
The attack lasted only a few minutes and ended the attack as soon as the police arrived at the scene.
Witnesses said that there were rumors that this was a chaotic attack. The attacker fired from a rifle in the parking lot before entering the building. He continued to shoot, leaving victims in front of and inside the building. The police found a murderer and put him on trial.
According to the FBI, the perpetrator of the attack in March last year was detained by police because his mother reported to the police that he might have attempted suicide because of a temporary mental illness. The FBI interrogated him in April.
The police said: “At that time, the ideology of violent extremism caused by racism had not been established, but was not returned to him.”
The Indianapolis massacre is the latest in a series of armed attacks, once again making the issue of armed violence the center of political concern.
Indianapolis, the capital of Indiana, suffered two mass shootings this year. According to police reports, in January, a teenager killed four family members and a pregnant woman.
