In the latest episode of CS: GOdki, by Paweł Ksi±¿ In the Kinguin podcast hosted by ka and Janusz “Hayabusa” Kubski, the guests were Michał “michau_” S³owiñski and Kuba “Kubik” Kubiak. The subject of the conversation was a scandal related to the Flashpoit 3 game in pajamas between Anonymo Esports and Ninjas.
On Friday, as part of Flashpoint 3, the Poles won a match against ninjas in their pajamas. On Saturday, Anonymo Esports received a message from the organizers that the game must be repeated. On Sunday, the entire incident was exposed, and the global e-sports community stood up for the Poles. Finally, in the nightly announcement, the organizers announced that the two teams must be on the server at 9 pm today to complete the game on the Mirage map. The whole process is discussed in the podcast “CS: GOdka”.
-I think it is completely the culprit of Flashpoint. Here, I will definitely defend the Swedes and development. […] From the perspective of the current rules, D&C has adapted to the requirements of the Flashpoint order and the requirements of the regulations-Michał S³owiñski explained.
-In this game, Anonymo undoubtedly revealed his strategy and game method. Finally, they are preparing for D&C, not D&P for Anonymo. For them, this may be another game they think they will easily win. In this game, Anonymo had to use some secret strategies, and when they played again, they lost a trump card on their sleeves.
-In ESL and Dreamhack competitions, we test the server one day before the competition. Then, the team must enter the server and check whether the server is suitable for them. If something similar is done on Flashpoint, the problem will be discovered the day before the game. There is absolutely no preparation before the tournament, because if there is a problem on the server side, it is easy to avoid this situation. If this issue does occur during testing, it will be identified and Flashpoint will have at least 24 hours to resolve it.
-They (administrator-editor) have an hour to determine the problem. I really don’t understand how amazing they have not discovered this problem during this period of time. We can check the player’s routing for 10 minutes and see if it is a problem with him or the server. Then, at least to figure out whether this is a malfunction of the player or a malfunction of the server, you must also make other suggestions. […] These are real IT basics, someone at FACEIT should be able to suggest. If they do, Flashpoint will make it clear that this is their fault, and that this is the fault of the server.
-In my opinion, the only good option to resolve this conflict is to admit Flashpoint’s mistakes, apologize to D&C, and promise to change these rules. One is the administrator’s error and lack of preparation, and the other is that these rules do not allow Flashpoint administrators to postpone the game. This is definitely a mistake, and it shouldn’t. There is absolutely nothing to say about repeating this meeting. This is absurd.
