Canada will deploy troops to extinguish more than 100 wildfires. The army will help the fire brigade with airplanes and about 350 soldiers.
Dozens of forest fires are expected this weekend, partly due to lightning.
The past week has been very hot in most parts of the United States and Canada. In some places, the temperature reaches almost 50 degrees, such as in the village of Lytton in Canada. It became so hot there that it caught fire. Almost the entire village was burned down.
The heat is moving inland. There, the fire can also cause huge losses.
It is not clear how many people died in the fire. Soldiers and other support personnel tried to save as many houses as possible and bring people to safety.
