EDIN DZEKO played well against Lazio in yesterday’s derby. He didn’t score in the 2-0 game in Rome, but he established the first goal and blackmailed his opponent a red card.
In the final minutes of the game, he was replaced and received warm applause from the few people gathered in the stadium.
“We all know this is not one of the best seasons. But Derby will always be Derby. We lost in the first half of the season. We want everything to be done smoothly. We have one game left. Dzeko told DAZN after the game. Mourinho commented when he arrived in Rome:
“He has brought enthusiasm. Rome is a difficult environment. It is impossible for a better coach to come.”
With this victory, Roma is closer to qualifying for the Conference League, and Lazio has a place in the Europa League, but there is absolutely no Champions League.
