In the first preparation before the new season, DINAMO defeated Slovenian champion Mulla 4-0.
Damir Krznar’s team prepared without seven standard first-team players. They were from Croatia, Switzerland and Macedonia in the European Cup, so Dynamo played in a combined team.
The returnee Mubanje, who was on loan in Turkey, played from the first minute, and the returnee Sandro Kulenović and Mario Zuze played in the attack. It was Ćuže who gave Dynamo the lead with a terrible goal in the 28th minute when he hit the ball under Mulla’s crossbar ten meters away. In the 41st minute, Kulenovic extended his lead to 2:0, and after turning around, a corner kick was played in the opposite corner.
In succession, Kirznar gave the bench players a chance, and the 18-year-old Split player Martin Batulina used it best. In the 82nd minute, he hit the first corner with a strong shot from the edge of the penalty area, 3:0, 5 minutes later, his cannon shot from the crossbar almost in the same position scored 4:0.
Dynamo will play the next preliminary match against Maribor in Slovenia tomorrow, until June 28, when they return to Zagreb, the team will face Sered and Rostov.
Dynamo’s season will begin on July 6th, with the first match of the first round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers against Iceland’s Valour in Maximir. Returning a week later, HNL’s first round was on July 17, when Dynamo welcomed Slavin.
