The Croatian women’s handball team began their performance in the HEP Croatia Cup, which defeated the world champion Netherlands in 24 hours and 23 minutes.
Croatia ranked third in the last Eurozone, losing a three-pointer in the middle of the first half, but then entered the three-pointer with a score of 6:0 and gained a three-goal advantage (13:10). In the second half, the Croatian handball players maintained their advantage until the Dutch team trailed by three goals. They scored two goals and they entered the final with a score of 24:23. Jessic did not score 7 meters, but the visiting handball player did not use the last attack, so Porec’s victory was attributed to Croatia.
In Croatia, the most efficient is Ćamila Mičijević, with 7 goals; Dora Krsnik, with 5 goals. Tea Pijevic shot brilliantly and made 13 saves in total.
