In the 35th round of the Turkish League, Besiktas defeated the championship with a score of 2:2 in the home game against Ankara Guku.
Besiktas could have taken the lead in the 5th minute, but the visiting goalkeeper defended Nkudu. However, in the fifth minute of the referee’s compensation in the first half, Kulusic undermined all the benefits of Seliky’s goal against Ankara Guku.
Ghezzal scored a free kick, Kulušić jumped up and hit the ball into the goal. His goalkeeper would definitely catch the ball. However, if the first one of his own goals can be attributed to an accident and clumsy reaction, Kulusic’s own goal in the 52nd minute is difficult to explain.
Rosier scored from the right, Kulusic threw his head to the ball, hit the ball into the goal, and ended with 2:0. Kulusic made a catastrophic mistake because the ball could only be shot into his goal after he reacted.
But thanks to Joseph Paintsil, Ankara Guku still managed to reach the finish line before the end of the game. In the 65th minute, Ganac scored the first point, and within the third minute of the referee’s compensation, the final 2:2 penalty was awarded.
Kulusic arrived in Ankara as a free man from the sheriff in January 2019. Before that, he briefly served as a sheriff in Rijeka and the Genclerbirligi, Balikesirspor and Hacettepe clubs in Turkey. At the beginning of his career, he played in Šibenik.
