Thanks to new suppliers, new MacBook Pro notebook computers may arrive in the second half of this year.
A few weeks ago, there were reports that the lack of mini-LED displays jeopardized Apple’s plans and delayed the new MacBook Pro laptops equipped with such panels. Since then, the inventory of the only mini-LED product so far has been exhausted, and the 12.9-inch 2021 iPad Pro will be shipped in many places in a long time.
A kind Digital Age However, Apple eventually signed a contract with Osram Opto Semiconductors, which will provide mini-LED screens. Therefore, the new MacBook Pro notebooks can finally be unveiled in the second half of 2021.
You can expect the 14-inch and 16-inch models without a touch bar but with a MagSafe connector. Bloomberg mentioned that the upgraded Apple processor, M2 (or M1X) will be more powerful than the current M1, and mass production will begin as early as April.
