CADENA SER wrote that Carlo Ancelotti (61 years old) is the candidate to succeed Real Madrid.
Everton’s portfolio manager was to make a sensation in returning to the Madrid club, which was revealed in Cardner’s show El Larguero.
From 2013 to 2015, Ancelotti led Real Madrid to the Champions League, Copa del Rey, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
After Zidane left the bench, Ancelotti was the third Italian to be linked to Real Madrid. Massimiliano Allegri is the most likely candidate, but he returned to Juventus. Antonio Conte has left Inter Milan and is still one of the candidates to succeed Real Madrid, but the Spaniard did not give him a big chance.
Cardner added that the remaining three candidates are Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauricio Pochettino, Castile coach Raul Gonzalez and Real Sociedad B team coach Harbi Aron Cable.
Ancelotti has played for Everton since 2019. During his career, he has led Regian, Parma, Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Bayern and Naples. Ancelotti has seven European trophies in his career and is considered one of the greatest coaches of all time.
He ranked tenth in the Premier League in Everton last season.
