Oliver Glasner becomes the new head coach of the Frankfurt Eintracht football team.
The Frankfurt Club announced the arrival of the 46-year-old Austrian expert on its website on Wednesday. The agreement is valid until the summer of 2024.
Grasner’s previous team was Wolfsburg, who finished fourth in the Bundesliga Champions League. After Glasner’s Wolfsburg contract took effect until the summer of 2022, Frankfurt had to pay a buyout price for it, but the contract amount was not disclosed because the two parties reached an agreement.
Eintracht has been fighting for the BL position until he won the championship, but eventually ranked fifth and fell behind, and may enter the Europa League group stage next season.
In Frankfurt, Grasner will replace his compatriot Adi Hütter, who will take over the management of the eighth-placed Mönchengladbach football club. Although he signed a live contract with him, he still withdrew from the International Cup in the summer, but had to redeem the price.
