Metro has 678 stores in 24 countries/regions around the world, and it will be the first company in Poland to start testing its “no-waste” system. If it proves to be useful enough, it will of course also be launched in other countries/regions. .
According to Wasteless, its software is currently able to reduce food waste in stores by 40%, but after further improvements, it has also found that it cannot reach the 80% rate.
