Stojan Vranjes came to Poland in 2014. Then he replaced Lejia Gdańsk with Vojvodina Nowy Sad. In addition, on our court, he has also played for Legia Warszawa and Piast Gliwice. In the colors of Legia, he won the Polish championship twice and the Polish Cup once. In total, he played 91 games in Ekstraklasa, scoring 19 goals and 4 assists.
After a year in Piast Gliwice, Frangis decided to return to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018, to be precise Zeljeznicar Sarajevo. After a year in the capital of his home country, the 34-year-old moved to Borac Banja Luka (his hometown), perhaps this was one of the best decisions of his career.
The start of his family club was not a success, because he only played 6 games in the spring split and scored one goal. However, from the beginning of the 2019/2020 season, the Volanbe class was selected as the captain of Ballack, and the club has been much higher since then. In that game, the team from Banja Luka finished fourth in the league and Vranjes scored 12 hits in 22 games.
The 2020/2021 season may be the best season of Stojan Vranjes’s career. Bosniak continued to use the captain’s armband to lead his club to the second national championship ever. In addition, he scored 15 goals in 24 league games, which earned him the title of best scorer along with Zrnijski’s striker Mostar Nemanja Bilbija. On Sunday, in the final game of the season, Borak defeated Tuzla 2-0 to win the title. Franjes scored the first goal.
