Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman says Apple will in this year cement the switch from Intel chips to silicon made in Cupertino. In 2022, Apple will introduce a new version the iMac Pro with two variants.
Apple Silicon M1 Pro, or M1 Max, may come with the new iMac Pro Apple is about to unveil. The user will decide what configuration is best for him and which one is most suitable to his budget.
Gurman reiterates his belief that 2022 will see the arrival of a 5G-capable iPhone SE and AirPods Pro 2, as well as a new iPad Air.
The design of the new iMac Pro is similar to the existing 24-inch iMac models, which have an M1 CPU. Bloomberg analyst also sees this iMac Pro being a replacement to the 27-inch desktop computer which hasn’t received Apple Silicon treatment.
Nevertheless, it is unlikely that Californian brands will offer the same color palettes as the 24-inch iMac. The Pro model will continue to have a premium, more sophisticated look.
This new iMac Pro screen should be 27 inches in size, with mini-LED technology and ProMotion 120 Hz. The processor power of the computer will make it a desktop computer that can produce multimedia content.
This iMac Pro is a historically expensive product that comes with basic accessories and prohibitive prices. For the moment, we’ll have to wait until mid-year to see what American technology will bring to this segment. It has not been updated for many years.
