Canalys reports that Apple has regained their dominant position as the world’s largest smartphone seller, moving up to the top in quarter 2021.
Apple’s iPhone was 22% in smartphone sales during the October-December period last year. Particular emphasis was placed on the iPhone 13 family.
With 17% of total sales, Samsung came in second. Xiaomi was third with 12% sales volume for the fourth quarter 2021.
Cupertino’s dominance in the market is due to the growing demand in China for iPhones, where the apple has been steadily growing. It should also be noted that these values could be even higher since the production of iPhones was conditioned by the scarcity of components.
The difficulty in manufacturing the key components of smartphones and the pandemic seems to have mostly affected small manufacturers. However, market giants are able to sell a lot of products.
American technology company is the one that seems to best address the current situation. This may be due to the fact Tim Cook, who is leading the brand, is developing many components of its products in-house. Many analysts and leakers expect a number of new products to arrive in 2022. It is also expected that the brand will have a special year.
