Getting started is crucial, especially on dry roads, because on the critical Imola, overtaking is very difficult. It is conceivable that Pérez runs like a hare on a tire, while Verstappen and Hamilton both adopt similar tactics. Then, there is a direct question whether Red Bull is still faster than Mercedes in the “race race” or whether the championship team has closed the gap.
An exciting game seems to be guaranteed, especially the danger of showers. Red Bull and Verstappen can provide themselves with such an excellent service and become winners at such a rapid rate. This will be a bonus for the fast cars launched from the Milton Keynes factory after winter.
