CSKA Moscow lost to city rival Dynamo 3-2 in the final round of the Russian Champions League. Due to the failure, Ivica Olić’s team ranked sixth and therefore will not participate in European competitions next season. Rubin Kazan, ranked fourth, and Sochi, ranked fifth, scored three more points.
In the 18th minute, Ivica Olić’s team took the lead and Tiknizjan scored, but in the 72nd minute, Gululjev changed it to 2. :1. Ejuke equalized the score to 2:2 in the 79th minute, and Dynamo’s victory was brought by the 17-year-old Zacharyjean in the 89th minute of the game.

The sixth place is CSKA’s worst ranking in the Russian championships since the seventh place in 2001. Oric won the championship at the end of April this year, when CSKA ranked fifth, the same score as the third place Lokomotiv and eight points less than the first place Zenit. Zenit’s advantage eventually increased to 15 points, and Lokomotiv’s advantage increased to 6 points.
