After two years of negotiations, he managed to reach an agreement with Dak Prescott, manager of the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL, who extended the contract for four years for $160 million.
In this new contract, a security right of $126 million was given to the 27-year-old player, who received an NFL signing bonus of $66 million.
Prescott is the second highest paid player in the NFL with $40 million per year, second only to last year’s champion, this year’s Super Bowl participant, and Kansas City Chiefs manager Patrick Mahoms (Patrick Mahomes).
Prescott was selected as the best offensive rookie in 2016, leading Texas to the playoffs of the season. Since then, he has done it again, and in 2018 he won the game. He suffered a serious ankle injury in the fifth game last year and the season is over.
