Canadian police said that four members of a Muslim family were killed in a “premeditated” attack on Sunday.
In London, Ontario, a 20-year-old Canadian deliberately ran a truck into a Muslim family. Four family members were killed. The only survivor was a 9-year-old boy. He is currently in serious condition and is receiving treatment in the hospital.

The police did not release the names of the victims, but the Free Press of London reported that Said Afzal, 46, his 44-year-old wife Madiha Salman, and their 15-year-old daughter Yumna Afzal Fzal has been killed. Syed Afzaal’s 74-year-old mother was also killed, but her name is unknown.
The 9-year-old son of Madiha and Syed, Faez, received serious non-life-threatening injuries in the hospital.
According to media reports, the family moved from Pakistan to Canada 14 years ago.
This is the deadliest attack on Canadian Muslims since the killing of six believers in a mosque in Quebec in 2017.
With a population of approximately 400,000 in London, Mayor Ed Holder stated that this was “a mass murder of Muslims and Londoners rooted in unspeakable hatred”.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Twitter that he was “disgusted” by the news and that “our place has no place for Islamophobia.”
“This hatred is sinister and despicable-it must stop,” he added.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the attack, saying that the case showed that the Western countries have “increased Islamophobia”.
